Risk Disclosure
Last updated: 1 January 2026
Crypto trading and investing involve a high degree of risk and may result in the loss of some or all of the capital you commit. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
1. Purpose of this disclosure
This Risk Disclosure sets out material risks associated with using the Dospilište platform ("Platform"), including its market tracking tools, AI-assisted analysis and automated trading bots. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It does not describe every risk, and you should make your own assessment before using the Platform.
2. Volatility of digital assets
The prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other digital assets can change very rapidly, sometimes by large percentages within minutes or hours. Prices can fall to zero. Liquidity can disappear during periods of stress, making it difficult or impossible to exit a position at a price you expect.
3. Regulatory status
Most crypto assets are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom. Consequently, you may not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in respect of losses. Rules and tax treatment may change, and activities that are lawful today may become restricted in the future.
4. Automated trading bots
Automated bots act on the parameters you configure and on signals generated by software. They may open, close or resize positions without further input from you. Bots can behave unexpectedly because of coding errors, incorrect settings, corrupted data, exchange latency, order rejections, partial fills or unusual market conditions. Backtested or historical performance does not predict how a bot will behave in live markets.
5. AI-generated analysis
AI-assisted market analysis is probabilistic. It may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and it cannot anticipate every event, including news, regulatory action, security incidents or market manipulation. You should not treat any output as a guarantee or as a substitute for your own judgement.
6. Risk management controls
The Platform offers risk management features such as stop-loss orders, position limits and exposure caps. These tools are designed to reduce risk but do not remove it. A stop-loss order may be executed at a worse price than requested, especially in fast markets, and gaps in price can cause losses greater than the level you set. Controls depend on connectivity and on the availability of third-party exchanges.
7. Leverage and derivatives
Margin trading, leveraged products and derivatives magnify both gains and losses. A relatively small adverse price movement can result in the loss of your entire deposit and may trigger liquidation. Where the Platform makes such products available, you must understand their mechanics before use.
8. Technology, security and custody
Trading relies on internet connections, software, third-party exchanges and wallets. Failures, cyber attacks, phishing, loss of private keys or API credentials, and exchange insolvency can all result in losses. Where you connect an exchange account, the assets remain subject to that provider's terms and custody arrangements, not ours.
9. Costs and taxes
Fees, spreads, network charges and withdrawal costs reduce returns and can make small trades uneconomic. Your tax liability depends on your personal circumstances and may change over time. You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes due in your jurisdiction, including under HM Revenue and Customs guidance on cryptoassets.
10. Emotional and behavioural risk
Rapid price movements can prompt impulsive decisions, including increasing stakes to recover losses. Automation does not remove this risk. Set limits in advance, keep records of your decisions and take breaks when necessary.
11. Scams and impersonation
Fraudsters may impersonate Dospilište staff or create fake websites, social media accounts or messaging groups. We will never ask for your password, two-factor codes or private keys, and we will not promise guaranteed returns. If you are contacted unexpectedly, do not share any information or funds, and report it to us at [email protected].
12. No advice
Information provided through the Platform is for general educational purposes only. It does not constitute personal financial, investment, legal or tax advice, nor an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset. Consider your financial situation, objectives and risk tolerance, and seek independent advice from a suitably qualified professional where appropriate.
13. Acknowledgement
By using the Platform you confirm that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that you accept the risks described above, and that you are making your own decisions. For questions, contact us at Corn Street 134, EC3M 4AJ Edinburgh, United Kingdom, or on +44 20 7946 4779.
